The program has two components:
- In-class training
- Upgrade language skills (English and French) and computer skills
- Communication skills relative to administration
- Document use and filing
- Using new technologies
- Basic numeracy relative to accounting
- Development of personal and professional aptitudes
- Eight (8) weeks of practical work experience
The project coordinator will work with each participant until they obtain a full time job post-practicum. The coordinator will also provide support in the six (6) months following the practicum. A certificate of completion will be given to each participant who successfully finishes the program.
