Tasks
- Plant and move trees
- Plan and construct landscaped environments which may include trees, shrubberies, lawns, fences, decks, patios, and other landscape structures
- Prepare base for and install pavers
- Plan the leveling and grading of loam
- Install, operate and repair irrigation systems
- Construct fences, decks, and pergolas
- Construct retaining walls
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Landscaping plant identification
Requirements of the job
Training / Education
- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required
Work experience
2 years of related experience
Skills required
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
- Attention to detail, Handling heavy loads
- Physically demanding, Manual dexterity
- Bending, crouching, kneeling
- Repetitive tasks, combination of sitting, walking, Standing for extended periods
