Tasks
- Manage the work crew, operators, and equipment, in a profitable and safe manner to meet the commitments of contracts/agreements
- Provide overall on-site leadership on the construction project site
- Train or arrange for training
- Supervise workers (Heavy equipment operators, raker men, other paving crew workers)
- Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity
- Recommend personnel actions
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Co-ordinate activities
- May perform duties of workers supervised

Skills required
- Ability to Supervise: 5-10 people
- Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Dusty
- Industry experience: Road construction
- Area of work experience: Paving
- Physically demanding,
- Attention to detail, Overtime required, Handling heavy loads
- Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
- Personal suitability: Team player, Dependability, Reliability, Accurate, Organized, Judgement
- Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract)
- Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel regularly
